Do I need to use the shampoo if preTreat is protecting my hair?
Yes, the shampoo was designed to remove the barrier created by the preTreat. Other shampoos may not remove it and it may build up on the hair. Also, the shampoo will neutralize any residual chlorine naturally, and it's designed to be extra gentle so that it can be used several times a day by the elite swimmer/diver.
Can I use the shampoo on my hair if it's permed or color-treated?
We recommend using the shampoo ONLY if you use the preTreat before swimming or diving. Processed hair is very fragile and dry. Since the shampoo was designed to remove the preTreat it may also remove previous conditioners coating the hair making hair feel dryer.
Can I use poolHead shampoo anytime?
poolHead shampoo has a very specific function, that is to remove the preTreat and neutralize chlorine and other chemicals. We recommend using a regular shampoo when hair is not exposed to these elements.
